I am interested in starting up a Dinner Party Project at an elementary school in Iowa City, IA. I have been unable to get in contact with anyone about how to go about initiating a project and any material or curriculum that may be available as resources. I am located in South Carolina and am hoping to start a cooking club at my shool next year. My school's Home Arts teacher will co-sponsor the club with me. I am interested in how other people have set up cooking clubs in their schools. My thoughts are to try to incorporate basic kitchen strategies, with meal planning and nutrition.
